Les offers a range of consulting services to suit the needs of small and medium sized businesses located in Sydney, Newcastle and the Central Coast including (but not limited to) telephone support, remote support, system administration, preventative maintenance, and on-site services such as installations preventative maintenance and repairs.

Please Note: Les does not provide services to consumers as his services are targeted towards the needs of small to medium sized businesses.

If you need help with your Windows or Unix based desktops, notebooks and servers or with your networking or Internet access then Les is more than capable of assisting you.

Les has considerable experience with computer hardware and peripherals which he has gained through building, installing and servicing computer hardware and peripherals over the past 30 years.

Les has some 30 years of experience in supporting computers, servers and networks running CPM, DOS, Windows, Windows Server, macOS, SCO Xenix, SCO Unix and other PC based Unix environments such Linux and BSD.

Les also has considerable experience with telecommunications products which he has gained through installing and maintaining telephone systems, VoIP systems, routers, firewalls and wireless networks over the past 30 years.

Service Charges - Pre-existing Support Arrangement

Telephone Support - Business Hours

These rates only apply to clients with a pre-existing support arrangement and are applicable to telephone support requests received during our standard business hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm Mon-Fri excluding NSW Public Holidays.

Hourly Rate

$100.00 Excluding GST per hour billed per 15 minutes or part thereof.

Telephone Support - After Hours

These rates only apply to clients with a pre-existing support arrangement and are applicable to telephone support requests received outside of our standard business hours.

Hourly Rate

$150.00 Excluding GST per hour billed per 30 minutes or part thereof.

Remote Support - Business Hours

These rates only apply to clients with a pre-existing support arrangement and are applicable to services that are performed remotely from our premises during our standard business hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm Mon-Fri excluding NSW Public Holidays or after hours at our discretion.

Note: In order to remotely access a client computer Les uses LogMeIn. In order to recoup his annual subscription fee for LogMeIn Central as of October 1st 2017 he has levied his clients a monthly fee of $1.50 per computer on which LogMeIn is installed. This monthly fee is charged per client computer on which LogMeIn is installed.

For client computers on which LogMeIn isn't installed and/or charged the monthly fee Les' Remote Support will be charged as if that client computer isn't included in those computers covered by the Pre-existing Support Arrangement, and as such Remote Support for that client computer will be charged at the rates which apply to Remote Support where No Support Arrangement exists.

Remote Support - After Hours

These rates only apply to clients with a pre-existing support arrangement and are applicable to services that are performed remotely from our premises outside of our standard business hours at the customer's request.

Note: In order to remotely access a client computer Les uses LogMeIn. These rates only apply to clients with a pre-existing support arrangement and are applicable to services that are performed at a location other than our premises during our standard business hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm Mon-Fri excluding NSW Public Holidays or after hours at our discretion.

Note: Effective July 1st 2019 Les will no longer waive Call-Out Fees and Travel Charges for On-Site visits of less than 4 hours duration and will decide on a case by case basis whether to waive Call-Out Fees and Travel Charges for On-Site visits of between 4 and 8 hours duration. Les will continue to waive Call-Out Fees and Travel Charges for On-Site visits of more than 8 hours duration.

Standard Call-Out Fee

$150.00 Excluding GST. Includes first 30 minutes or part thereof.

Services will be provided at our first available opportunity.

Priority Call-Out Fee

$300.00 Excluding GST. Includes first hour or part thereof.

Applies where customer requires a priority (e.g. <4Hr) response.

Hourly Rate

$150.00 Excluding GST per hour billed per 30 minutes or part thereof.

Travel Charges

First 15 minutes of travel time each way included in Call-Out Fee.

Subsequent travel time each way will be charged at $150.00 Excluding GST per hour billed per 15 minutes or part thereof.

On-Site Services - After Hours

These rates only apply to clients with a pre-existing support arrangement and are applicable to services that are performed at a location other than our premises outside of our standard business hours at the customer's request.

Note: Effective July 1st 2019 Les will no longer waive Call-Out Fees and Travel Charges for On-Site visits of less than 4 hours duration and will decide on a case by case basis whether to waive Call-Out Fees and Travel Charges for On-Site visits of between 4 and 8 hours duration. Les will continue to waive Call-Out Fees and Travel Charges for On-Site visits of more than 8 hours duration.
